Hilton Head Island native Clayton Rollison opened American bistro with Southern soul Lucky Rooster in Dec. 2013. Surrounded by island scenery, fine seafood and regional specialties, he developed a menu of refined comfort foods and adventurous eats utilizing the best of the area for an array of eaters. On the seasons and the whim of his kitchen staff, the dishes at Lucky Rooster are approachable but exciting. The Culinary Institute of America (Hyde Park) grad spent time in kitchens from California to New York honing his craft but returned home to South Carolina to realize his dream.
