Daniel Coulter’s interest in food is a defining feature of his life. Daniel originally began his career as a corporate trainer, but followed his passion to the kitchen. Hailing from Athens, GA where there was an abundance of farms, locally sourced produce, and culinary exploration, Daniel completed his coursework and hands-on training at the Athens Country Club to become a certified Sous Chef. After relocating to Charleston with his wife, Daniel joined the Kiawah Island Golf Resort culinary team in 2011 where he worked at Jasmine Porch before following his Southern roots to his true passion for barbecue. He believes in treating ingredients simply and with care.
